Aren’t you grateful for the invention of cars? Isn’t it amazing how you can get from one city to another in this incredibly fast auto machine? Cars are wonderful and drive even better. Family trips, Rides to the zoo or park, ride to the beach and yes those high speed interstate drives; they are all fun and remain ingrained in your memory banks. Cars sure add to the fun in our lives. While this man made machine can be dangerously fast and fun, it can also be fatal. Yes if not taken care of, cars can be fatal.
Driving is fun as long as you are still on the road and not heading to the afterlife. The key is to remember that it is manmade. It needs to be looked after, it needs to be checked. You need to check your steering box and steering gearbox regularly. Make sure the steering rack works. Check to see the air in the tires and if they are balding. Check your tank, carburettor etc. before you take your machine out for a long drive, check twice and ensure that it is safe to drive. Lives lost to accidents are only on the increase, it is time we did our best to ensure we aren’t adding to the number.
